For more than a decade, Co-operatives and Mutuals Canada (CMC) has served as the national voice for Canada’s co-operatives, credit unions, caisses, and mutuals. On October 11, 2026, we will begin a new chapter as Canada Co-op, adopting a name and visual identity that are clearer, more memorable, and more closely aligned with the organizations we represent.
While our name and logo are changing, our mission remains the same. We will continue to unite, promote, and advocate for Canada’s co-operatives, credit unions, caisses, and mutuals while supporting the growth and success of our members. As Canada Co-op, we believe we can strengthen our visibility, amplify awareness of the co-operative business model, and make it easier for Canadians, policymakers, partners, and potential members to understand who we are and why our work matters.
